About Vals' Diva Do's
I started out 8 years ago on ebay selling bows.
Since then, I have made and sold over 15,000 bows. I run my
business out of my home in Grove OK.
I live in a small town about 100 miles NE of Tulsa OK. I grew up in Puyallup Washington. I got married at 16 and my husband then moved me to Houston Texas. that marriage didn't work out.. 6 years and 2 kids later we got a divorce. I then found and married the sweetest man in the world, Steve. We have been married 32 years.
I worked at a electronics firm building circuit boards, then I started making dog bows and selling them on ebay. A customer asked me to open a store on Ebay so I did.. From there my bow business just grew and grew.
Making and selling bows has been so much fun for
me because I have cyber met so many nice people and their pets. I
just love chatting with folks about their pets and getting to
know everyone. You can email a photo of your dog and I will be happy to post it on my ebay site or on my fun photo's page here on
my website.
Being a dog bow maker
is fun for me. It keeps me busy. From time to time I shut things down
and take a few days off. Summertime calls for a month off for vacation.
This year we drove to Washington State but sometimes we just stay
around the house and catch up on things that need to be done.
If your thinking about buying some of my bows, be
assured you will get some of the best quality available in dog
bows. The bows are created from the finest ribbons,
stiffened/hardened with a safe product and fray checked.
If you are ever dissatisfied with anything I make, please let
me know for a full refund or exchange. I am always willing to
change a bow to your specifications as to size or color as long as
I have the materials to accompany your request. Please email me
anytime at bowsbyval@aol.com (please copy
and paste this address into your mail box) and I will get back to
you as soon as possible. If you want to, you can call me at 918 801-8039.
Things get pretty hectic around here sometimes. I get up at 4 or 5 oclock the morning. I start by cutting orders for 3 or 4 hours. Then I sew until 11 or 12 and rush to get the bows stiffened and drying under the fan. Around 1 I am trimming and treating the ends for fray..2pm its pack out time. 3pm off to the post office. 3:30 pm I am working on the computer answering emails. Evening time is dog bow sewing time along with watching some favorite tv programs or dvd movies.
Looking forward to sewing bows for you and your furbaby!
